What's in it

Five styles, one editor
Colors, Dark, Spacing, Motion, and Shape & Form — every style type that sys_ux_style ships. Switch between them without leaving the panel.
OKLCH-driven brand axes
Set 5 anchor hexes; the tool generates the full 21-stop scales mathematically. Edit one anchor, watch the whole theme cascade.
Round-trip import / export
Paste in a theme JSON from your instance, edit it, export it back. Full round-trip with the same JSON format your instance speaks.
Live preview
Four scenes that mirror real ServiceNow UI. See colors against real chrome, not abstract swatches. Light and Dark side-by-side.

Why it exists

Built first for admins who own theme work but aren't full-time designers — edit the JSON you export from your instance, not just themes built from scratch. Consultants get round-trip import/export that doesn't depend on the platform being available; designers get OKLCH-aware color tools with live preview against real Next Experience chrome.

Free. No signup. No paywall. Built by one developer who wanted a better way to do it.

Things to know

Independence
An independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by ServiceNow. "ServiceNow" and "Next Experience" are used descriptively.
Warranty
No warranty, no SLA, best-effort. Export your themes to JSON — that's the durable save. Autosave is a convenience for working state, not a place your work lives.
Privacy
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Your themes stay in your browser — autosave and snapshots never leave your device. The exception is when you create a share link: the theme is saved to our database so you can share it with friends and colleagues — anyone with the link can open it.
Source
Source isn't public yet. The app runs entirely client-side, so you can inspect it in your browser's DevTools if you want to see how it works.
